Go to the PC manufacturer's website. There they will hvae the stuff needed. From there download the drivers to the PC you are using to type out your answers and transfer them to the other PC via CD, USB or whatever you can. Then install the drivers.

All they have are PDF documentations on the products... no drivers.

I am going to try reinstalling XP and see if for somereason it is a Vista issue

That is a bit extreme, i believe it is a driver issue, you just have to find the right driver.

Check the manf website to ensure they do have a driver for Vista (which by my reading they did).

I was unable to find one at HP United States - Computers, Laptops, Servers, Printers and more , ASUSTeK Computer . or Welcome to Intel model number is P5GC-MX

That looks like the motherboard drivers to me. That is Vista 32 Bit.
