Since upgrading from a Celeron 3.2GHz to a Pentium D 3.4GHz Dual-core, everything has been wicked fast.
My only problem is, I have the occasional (2-3 times/day) BSOD. I believe that the CPU is overheating, but I'm not positive. My idle temp in BIOS is 49/52Celsius.
Everyone says the stock fan/heatsink sucks for this CPU, so I think I should upgrade. Can someone reccommend a program to monitor the CPU temp during normal operation? I have an Intel D865GSA board, running the latest and compatiable SL95V Pentium D 950. I'm guessing this beast is getting too hot...
