PC to TV with 7600gt xxxedition

Hi, today i try to connect my rig to a tv.. the cable i used is 4 pin S-video to Scart converter.

i used the nvidia wizzard to help me to the connection... after restart, the tv shows the booting screen of pc without color, then it disappears after loading the windows...

What did i do wrong/?

my graphic card is 7600gt with 2 dvi and 1 s-video , the cable is with 4 pin connector..

another thing, if i upgrade my graphic card to 9800gtx will help for the connection ??

I haven't ever used an Nvidia card, but I do have an older ATI card that had an RCA Video out connector. For it to work, I had to go into the display settings, and had to select an option to display the signal through the RCA, onto a second monitor. I suspect that you would have a similar setting that you would need to select.
