My specs

amd athalon 64 x2 4200+
7900 gt
2 gigs of Ram
SB x-fi soundcard
300 GB Hdd

CASE: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811233002

As you can see this is a moderate to high end pc I built but the case was supposed to be very good...

As I am writing this message my GPU(card) is at a 45 Celsius. I've got 3 120 mm fans and the entire case of the fan off with a MASSIVE DESK FAN pumping air into the motherboard. I've noticed that my performance in games is faster right after I restart and it gets slower and slower the longer it stays on.

I've considered water cooling but I'd like too see your opinions!

stock cooling on the g card? Instead of anythin drastic try the zalman stuff, it really does work. My 7900 used to run around 38 idle, now it barely touches 30!

you mean like the GPU fan? The thing that came with it? They make ones like that lol.

how hot does ur CPU and ur G card get on full load?
try this program : PC Probe II
neat program measures Temperature, core voltage, OC voltage, etc
