HI guys. The title says it all.

This is what happened. My brother got a new computer, so he gave me his old one. Although it is older than my computer, it was 1Ghz faster :D (I am a HARDCORE gamer, so needless to say I jumped on it) So i put all my stuff in and hooked it up, and turned it on...

When it turns on, the screen brings me to the "Windows did not start properly last time" And gives me the option of starting it in safe mode, safe mode with networking, safe mode with command prompt, last known good configuration, and starting it normally.

No matter which option I choose, same thing happens. The computer restarts without warning, and brings me back to that screen.

I have tryied everything I can think of, including wiping the entire hard drive because I thought it could be a driver problem.

any help here would be greatly appreciated.

thanks.

sounds to me like a faulty harddrive, what kind is it? because there are manufacturer tools to check the condition of the HD. It can also be ur PSU or ur RAM..
