Pc overheats instantly..

Ok this is ****ing me off, i run an amd athlon 3200+. At idle the temp is 38-42c, the second a game is launched it jumps to 60c then once its up for a few secs it goes to 65c and pc reboots or freezes. I took stock heatsink off replaced with a new one, i put the right paste on, i put correct ammount, there is no dust in teh heatsink, the fan spins fast and good RPMS. WTF could be wrong? my friend pc sits next to mine when he comes over and it runs steady 30c idle 45c load... same ****** pc! Please help!

Possibly a bad temp probe??? Or the BIOS is reading it wrong? Try touching the heatsink and see if it really leaves a burn mark on you when you touch it while the temps are maxing....
