PC not booting after windows updates

Nothing worked at all so I decided to wipe the HDD.
When I tried to install windows again I got error messages that led me to believe the RAM was at fault and it actually was.

Lesson learnt - back up first, then check all aspects of the hardware. saves a reinstall!

Thanks for letting us know the issue though.
