Default Pc keeps rebooting

My gf's computer keeps rebooting whenever she is multitasking on the pc. She says she was browsing the internet, playing music with winamp, downloading music with Limewire, msn, and writing notes in Word.

I'm not sure what's going on. I was thinking the cpu might be overheating?

I've also had this problem before when I was running Azureus and Zonealarm kept rebooting my pc.

She is running AVG's antivirus software and Spybot. She is also running a Linksys wireless pci NIC with speedbooster and Linksys' software. I'm not sure what's going on.

Any ideas?

Default

check if her thermal paste isn't dry, if so time remove and replace the paste. use arctic silver (good quality)

it can also be RAM problem, if changing the thermal paste doesnt work
download this and create a bootable disk to run it on system boot:

~this program scans the RAM for any errors~
