Hi,

Can anyone suggest a step by step PC healthcheck including hardware and software?

I use the 4 step virus/antispyware removal but i would like to ensure the hardware is in tip top condition

cheers

Try some of these ideas matey

There are numerous checks you can do on your PC. Some of these being:

- Virus/malware/adware/grayware scans.

- Defragmentation.

- Registry cleanup.

- Ending unnecessary background programs. (Use Start>Run>"msconfig">startup to stop programs launching on system boot).

- Desktop cleanup.

- Windows update.

- Hardware updates.

- Software updates.

- Uninstalling unused programs.

- Internet security software updates!

This is a pretty good list to start on mate. It covers most checks that should be done regularly.

Regards,

Sam
