some SSD manufactures provide software so you can run a trim command at anytime, as long as the drive is idle.
What brand name and model number is your SSD?

So your saying Diablo froze when you left the game ?
Does that happen in any other game ?
I want to vrify if it maybe a program problem.
@joe: I don't think the drives maybe the problem.
Could we have him check event viwer and check the windows log ?

OP said he fixed his issue by reverting to a previous GPU driver:
