So my gaming pc was working fine all day but after ~4 hours of use it just started freezing without shutting down itself. Weird. I checked Event Viewer but there was nothing really significant other than Kernel Power (which was because of me turning off the pc). I ran memory diagnostic. Nothing. CPU and GPU temps were both around 40-50 degrees C. I updated my gpu and chipset drivers but that didn't fix anything. I notice that the computer is more likely to freeze when I launch a game (csgo in this case) or anything demanding but it also happens sometimes when nothing is open. I haven't tried system restore (as I have no restore points) and I dont want to reinstall windows unless I'm sure its a software related issue.
My Graphics card that I'm using is quite ancient (8 years ) so its a likely culprit but I've never seen it fail before and never seen any artifacts.
So, what do u guys think? Do you think its the GPU, Motherboard, some driver issue, etc? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
