pc dvd players vs tv dvd players?

is there a pc dvd drive that will read movies as good as normal dvd players? me and my friends have trouble playing certian dvds on are computers but not on normal dvd players. does any one no if there is a computer dvd drive that wont be as picky when it comes to playing movies. sometimes the dvd will have a scratch and the pc will freeze and wont be able to make it past that scratch, then ill put it in my normal dvd player and it will play through it. ive tried this on three different drives and my friends all talk of the same problems.

Does any one know of a pcdrive that is like spacifically made for watching movies or one that is not picky? HELP please.

Most DVD-ROM's will read anything you throw at them. Go to Newegg, and pick out any DVD drive, they'll work great.

and it plays everything I throw at it. even the dvds that don't play in my $60 dvd player.

I'd look into this one.
