Default pc crashing/reseting

hi

my pc keeps crashing and resseting

temps are fine

this problem can go away then come back a few months later

any ideas..?

Download, burn and run Memtest, Check your power supply rails with a DMM or a program.

Have you tried a reformat?

What anti Virus and antiSpyware Programs.

mem test was fine, how do i check my psu rails and yes i reforrmatted recently. I run ad/spyware/virus every week (avast)

you can run down and get a voltage meter to test the psu or get a psu from a local store with a nice return policy and test it out.

So how long did you run memtest for, 6 Hours is min.

And No Im not kidding.
