PC booting problem

Hey guys, my PC is having a problem when it tries to boot anything, a message just pops up saying Boot Failed Cannot Read From Device Please Try Again.
If anyone has any ideas on what is causing this and how to fix it. it will be greatly appriciated

Hmm, try changing the boot order in your BIOS to hard drive first. Make sure there are now discs in the CD-ROM drive or in the floppy drive. If that doesn't work, the hard drive might have failed. Try swapping out the hard drive.

I spelled that wrong, I meant make sure there are NO discs in the CD-ROM or floppy drive.
