On this Hard Drive, I installed Ubuntu and Windows XP, both on different partitions. Then today I put in my old hard drive to work as a slave drive.

What I want to do is, remove the Windows XP partition so Ubuntu can have 40GB again, since I gave it 20GB.

I want to delete everything off the slave drive so I can use it to store my things in.

I am running Ubuntu Linux right now.

I had the same problem with your first problem with the partitioning. However, if you load xp up. Then go to start, my computer. Then right-click the slave drive, and click format. This will wipe everything on your slave drive.
