Hi all
Wonder if a member can help. I bought a Packard bell I media 4700 for my son, when i set it up it was fine, everything worked fine for the first 5-6 hours. Then we notced a beeping from inside the tower. This beeping got gradually worse, till it started to emit a siren sound. After some research by myself i concluded it was most likely an overheating problem, so took it to my local computer shop to get it checked out - he said there was a problem with the motherboard, and siad it was not an overheating problem.
This beeping seems increase when ever you use the mouse or load a page etc whilst browsing the internet. when left with just desktop showing it only beeps occasionally.
The guy at the computer shop was vague about the problem re the motherboard, would anybody be able to suggest what the problem is?
