i am gonna crazy becoz of my computer problem
it "always" shuts down suddenly.
after reboot the comp,it says the cpu shut down becoz of the thermal problem(overheating)..but i just click a little program like wmp,msn...i think it would not give the cpu a heavy workload...everytime checking the cpu temp, its just about 5x...
i dunno whats going on...plz help me!!!

cpu:2.4 celeron
motherboard:intel
with 768 mb ram

thx!

Random reboots are often the result of a bad power supply and a weak PSU can cause the CPU fan to underspin and cause CPU temps to rise and the reulting mobo thermal protection shutoff in the BIOS to kick in. Plug in another pSU borrowed from another system and see if you have the same issues. If not, it's the power supply.
