Default Other Devices Problem

I reinstalled windows xp professional on my laptop and am having a few problems. I am not able to find drivers for the following 'other devices':

? mass storage controller
? Ethernet Controller
? PCI Modem
? Video Controller (VGA Compatible)
? Video Controller
? Network Controller

I have tried searching the internet but came up with nothing. Can anyone please help me solve this problem, i need my laptop for school and cannot use it to connect to the internet. Thank You.

Download the free version of Aida32 on another computer, burn it to CD, run it on your laptop. It will tell you what your hardware is so you can download drivers. Then, save those drivers on CD so next time you won't have this problem.

Change the world. Of one person. Today.

If your equation requires either a complex combination of variables to get the desired result OR you can't seem to get the result regardless of the variables....it ain't your variables, it's your constant.

It would be nice for you to list your laptop specs like model name and number. Then we could point you in the right direction.
