Optiplex 780 Internal Speakers

My work uses the Dell Optiplex 780 with internal speakers. Somehow, the tech guys here have deactivated them, and I'd like to get them back on. Judging by the number of discussions on the web about deactivating it, I think I'm in a minority here. Any tips? It's not one of the options under Sound > Advanced > Speaker Setup

Maybe you should speak with your IT dept if they have the sound disabled.

Is it in Device Manager? You might just need to get drivers for it.

If the tech guys knew how to deactivate it, why not ask them how to get it working again?
