opteron 165 with biostar nf4st-a9

my motherboard will not detect my cpu type.. it says, "AMD Hammer Family processor - Model Unknown". i think this also effects my ability to use my dual core. pls help with any suggestions

So im guessing your computer doesnt boot up, Make sure your bios is set to automatic pickup, cause some of them have an option for manual... Make sure your cpu aint overclocked or anything, and post what type of processor it is if the other two dont work
