Hello.

Subject: Fujitsu Siemens Amilo A1655G.
Adapter: Broadcom 802.11g Driver Version 3.100.46.0 (latest Fujitsu driver)
OS: WinXP Home

Problem : windows can only find wifi networks when coming out of standby modes.
In a normal bootup i only see 'no wireless networks available.'

What can i do?

The driver is installed, the latest version of Fujitsu and
under device management, the driver is correctly installed.

Many people write about the FN key in combination with F1 or F2, this is not the case, because there is no sign of a combination with the FN key on my keyboard.
I do not have a wi-fi switch on the notebook.

There is a wi-fi light on the notebook front, which in normal boot is off, and after standby
nicely lit, and so the network to wi-fi works.

There is also a quick launch button with a wifi signal above the keyboard.
Because of the hd-crash and new WinXP i cannot use the quick launch button.
I have been reading the fujitsu website about launch manager, but i cannot
find any software for my Amilo. I do not have any cd's.

It's a big problem, wich i cannot solve without help.

How can I fix this?

Regards,

I have an amilo Li2735. I don't know how similar yours is to mine but I have to press Fn+F1 and have lauch manager installed to enable my wireless after boot. It stays enabled if I don't shut it down (on vista sleep is the default so this isn't a problem for me).
I had been planning to find a way around this but it isn't that big of a problem for me so never got round to it.
