Online Purchase Question

I just purchased something via an online purchase. I then fulled around a bit and pressed back space and forward. I have now learned not to try this yet I am unsure of the actual consequence. I did this and it said post data will go through again and I did not read it all together and I see it said something about purchases being repeated. I bought something and was e-mailed that my order was confirmed. I then did this thing again, and I recieved another e-mail. It is possible by ordering and then pressing back space and forward space, my credit card was charged a 2nd or 3rd time and I ordered again. I e-mailed them and I will probably get a response within 24 - 48 hours I'd guess, will it be too late? Thanks for your help, -Noah.

yes it is possible. I've had it happen to me once but thankfully they had software on their site to prevent duplicate billing. i saw the 2nd charge on my card but they zero'd it
