Default One major strange problem

Okay its like this my other comp had a few problems on it I did a disk chk and fixed problems then restarted and found myself at the logon screen. i tried entering my password but the letters were all jumbled. Like E is X ect ect. I cant even reformat since the letters are all still screwd up. Anyone know what to do?

I have three extra keyboards its not the keyboard. Tried to start in safe mode but when I got that far the letterings and numbers are all diffrent. You think its hardware? Internal? Registry?

Don't worry about it the problems not fixed but now my comp is from what I can tell "Dead". I was taking out the hardware and checking it over but stupid me instead of having the power off while putting back my video card, it was urned on and it must have come ito contact withsomething and sparks flew. Now its dead probaly fried the mother board.
