Default OMG Memory Errors?

I have had these 2 (512) sticks of Corsair installed for about a year now and wanted to test them b/c I want to get more.

So I Ran Memtest86 ver.3.2 and found 39 errors. Test 4 had 12 errors and Test 6 had 18 errors (those stuck out a bit).
1)how bad is this?
2)what causes RAM to develop errors?
3)is there anything I can do? Jump off bridge?

Here is some other info that Memtest displayed during testing:
RAM: 200Mhz (DDR 398) / CAS: 2.5-3-3-8 Dual Channel (128bits)
L1 Cache 16 19620 mb/s
L2 Cache 1024K 17381 mb/s
Memory: 1023 mb 2840mb/s

Any insite as to what the heck this all means would be greatly appreciated.

You should have a lifetime warranty on your memory from the manufacturor. Call up Corsair and set up a RMA.

thats a good place to start. to satisfy curiosity though see if you can loosen those timings just to see if those errors stick around. more importantly though check the voltage because a lot of memory tends to error if voltage is below stock, which sometimes happens as it gets set incorrectly on occasion.
