I have an old compaq mobo... from the evo series... d5pm (not sure if thats the model). I'm trying to connect the power pins, and the ground but I don't know what pins to connect, I've tried some but no luck. I looked for a manual but couldn't find any. Is there a general rule I could use to find the right pins or does anybody know where i can find a manual for the mobo?

Sorry but there isn't a "rule" to where pins should go other than all pin connectors labels should be facing the same way and the sets of two pins are always side by side.
Each motherboard manufacturer thinks their way is the best so they use it. They should create a standard to make it easier.
