odd computer problem

Hello,
My problem is i just bought a new mobo, installed everything, then proceded to hit the power button with no posting just the fans turn on. my HD and Cd rom do not spin up wile connected to the ide cable. there are no beeps or flashing lights on the mobo. i'm confused, i have never had any power problems, the old mobo still works fine.

Any input would be great

Whats the posibility it happening twice in a row? with two diffrent mobo's

You can try this, but did you try a different PSU.
