So its not booting to CD. Are you using a DELL by any chance? If you are look for the option to press F12, press it, then select the CD drive.

If not, you need to set up your bios to boot to disk.

Bad CD then... Does it boot to disk on the machine you are currently posting from?

Im using HP, it came with windows 2000 but i upgraded it to windows xp long time ago

when you turn on your pc does your cd drive lights flash? (if there are any on it)

Yeah it turns from orange to yellow, then back to orange..

(If yellow is on, it means its busy)

lol im stuck. Dont have a clue. Cant even format to start again without booting to that cd :s
