Notebook Question

Hello,
I aman american now living in germany. I am flying to the states for a two week visit, adn want to take my laptop with me. I have a gericom 1440 Phantom. On the underside of the notebook, it reads 110v -220v. On the AC adapter, it reads ( input 110v-220v ). Can I use this in America without worrying about my notebook fryin on me...

You should be able to get a region free power adaptor for it.

so, this means I just need an adapter. No transformer, right?
since the label states 110v-220 it should work fine without a transformer,correct?
