alright, i just built my new computer, and i love it. BUt, when i was installing windows, i chose the partition for my os, but the rest of my hdd atre not showing up becuase i did not partion them. is there any other way to get windows to recognize my hdd( i dont want to pay for parition magic).

go to control panel>administrative tools>computer management>disk management.

from here you should see graphs of the unformatted drives and it will say something like "unallocated space". if you right click on the unallocated space it should bring up a menu, click "Partition Wizard" or "Create new partition", the option should be something along those lines. from there a wizard will guide you through partitioning and formatting.

thanks nitestick, just got through the new build and didnt want to have to reinstall windows again.
