not loading?

i built my own computer a few months ago and everything else been working ok. Until this morning I tried to turn on my computer and it stops at my motherboards screen and doesnt load. It also seems to be frozen because it says push "delete" to enter bios on the screen but it wont load that either. Did my hardrive burn out? or is there something wrong with my motherboard? Any help would be great! I hope its not as bad as a think

Your hard drive has nothing to do with that fact that it wont POST, you probably have a loose connection somewhere in the Motherboard or other hardware causing this issue, if it still doesnt POST then reset the BIOS by pulling out the CMOS battery thats in your motherboard for 5 minutes with the power cord unplugged

The cmos battery looks like this:

just turn your pc off, unplug from mains and then remove the battery. you might find that there is a jumper switch that you can use to cut off the battery, but personally i would just remove that battery and leave it for a minute, put the battery in again and try booting up.
