no video

hi,a friend got me to look at his pc,he said he was going to upgrade ram,took out ram from pc to see what he needed,now no video,i took the case off ,powered it up and noticed the fan on cpu was not working,turned it off,unplugged it from where it was on the mobo and moved it to another spot on mobo,fan started to work,i reseated all cards ,tried new ram,tried new psu,still no video,can anyone help.thanks -acer veriton 7200
