No Sound??

for some reason unknown windows does not regognize me sound device. I've installed the drivers a number of times and it does nothing. It is on board sound.

The system
Am2 4800
k9n sli premium msi mobo
2x1gig ocz ram
nvidia 8500 gts

any advise?

What operating system are you using. Is it enabled in your bios.

What O/S. all other drivers installed? new build?
