Default No Signal w/ ATI RADEON HD5770

I've had it for awhile but yesterday by computer froze and now my computer only turns on. No signal from the computer to the monitor and the fan on the video card sounds like it is accelerating and then slowing down constantly. I have an AMD Phenom ii x4 555 quad core running windows 7 32 bit

I have the same video card on an Intel i5 760, P55 Chipset. Did you wait for your card to kick in? With my computer, it has a 10 second delay before it kicks in on POST. Do you have onboard video?

I maybe going on a blind guess here, but go into bios and go into the video cards settings and see what speed it is currently set to ?

I know the standard is PCI express 16, but there should be option to decrease that speed a little bit if problems occur.
Have a look see and try to find it....
