Default no picture on monitor.

hey guys ive been havin some problems with my computer as of late n idk whats wrong. i will put my computer to sleep when i leave for a while and i'll come back and try to wake it up and the computer tower itself will turn on, everythings on running correctly, fans spinning n everything, but there is no picture on the monitor. all my cables are plugged in and everything and the only way i can get it to have picture again is to manualy shut off my computer and then turn it back on and it works fine. im not sure whats up but its really bothering me.

You're only guessing it's still running.

To find out, you'll need to try and get it to do something.

Try sutting it down via keyboar commands
Hit win key right arrow 3 times the enter.

Well thats good, so you know your system isn't freezeing.

Have you tried to reinstall your drivers... Use something like drivercleaner or drivesweeper to remove the old one completely then reinstall.

I use nvidias, so i'm unsure if theres catlyst settings that might need to be tweeked.

Vista seems to have this problem quite a bit and it usually has to do with some driver. Make sure all your peripherals are supported in vista (for example, Wireless B will work in vista, but isn't supported and causes that issue among others) and that you have current vista drivers.

If that doesn't work, check your power settings and set it to never shut off the hard drive.
