Situation: Computer was working fine, then without provocation it stopped booting.
Symptoms: POST screen will appear everything is fine but when it would normally leave POST and boot, the screen disappears (monitor acts like it does when a DPMS or no-signal state is apparent).
History: At one point it did boot fine, and everything worked perfectly. However when it was switched on again for the next session it exhibited the same exact problem again, and continues to do so.
Have disconnected HDD to ensure this is not a software issue, the BIOS would complain about no bootable media (paraphrashing here) if things were okay.
Tried removing one of the two memory sticks (tried each one out) incase of defective memory.
