Default no display problems

ok i have a problem i really would like help with,
my aunts pc had stopped working, she described to me the problem as:

she was on the pc and it suddenly failed to display anything the monitor was still on though.
then next day (the pc not having been used til then) her son switched the pc on and nothing at all happened (no power on at all not even a BIOS POST) i automaticaly thought PSU,
so i switched her PSU and it turns on (the fans and LED's etc.. all work) but still no display i then tried a diferent monitor and still no display.
my guess was the PSU went and took the GFX card with it so i ordered her a new GFX card and now it is installed there is still no display, the GFX card is not a powerfull one and the PSU meets it requirements any suggestions?

help is much appreciated

Is there on board video on this board? If you have a older PCI card you could try that to see if the AGPort is dead.
