Now with my computer off and the moniter on it gives me the message self check, check pc and connection cable moniter is fine. When i turn the computer on it stays that message and i can not get past it. I even tried a different moniter with just a blank screen showing. Any ideas i really need my comp working for school.

does it make a difference that the message still flashes even when my computer is off. Would this still be the motherboard?
