New ram = blank screen HELP!

Hi all,

I got a new stick of 1gb pc2700 ram.

When i put it in to my pc (just this 1 stick) i get nothing on my monitor, my monitor doesn't even turn on, when i boot up using my other ram the monitor makes a noise and turns on but with this 1gb of ram it doesn't.

My mother board is asrock K7NF2-RAID

Hi,

Just found out it is high density, second time i have brought high density

Any one know a motherboard that i can buy to take high density?
