new computer + no lan?????

hi guys it me again the idiot

I just got my asus a8nsli prium up and running and I put my cable modem into the port and nothing?

I do 1394 firewire at 400mbs but my cable company so thats not right.

my post reprt says no lan wire attached any idea??

Install ethernet drivers that came with your mobo, happened to me too.

hmm, is it just me, or does it seem as if the drivers that come with stuff realy suck, and windows drivers r better?

Usually when you pop in the motherboard's driver disk it displays a list of drivers for the motherboard, my mobo came with ethernet drivers, agp drivers(Since I have a AGP and PCI-I mobo) and I didn't bother installing the other drivers.

Other than the drivers that came with your mobo install your graphics card drivers and your sound card drivers, if you have one
