New Build Startup Problem

I have a rig here with the following specs:

Abit IP35 Pro
4GB G-SKill DDR 800 RAM
Geforce 9800GTX
750GB Samsung HDD
Optical Drive

When i try to start the computer up, the POST beep happens then the computer shuts off. Right after it turns off it starts again, and then just runs without anything coming on the screen.

We can get into BIOS/Windows when we take battery out for 30 seconds and reinsert. However when we restart, it shuts off then restarts and hangs with nothing on the screen. I have no idea how to fix this.

Hello,

Sounds like your battery for the CMOS might be dying. Might want to look into replacing it.

Maybe a outdated BIOS? Have you checked for any updates? Also do you have a powerful enough PSU?

BIOS is up to date (version 17), the power supply is by some company I've never heard of (seasonic) and it's modular. It's 750W i think. I thought of the power suplly too because i used to have a similar problem when i had my old OCZ PSU, it would turn on and off.
