Angry Network card drops my connection

I have a MSI NEO848P NEO with a built in Realtek RTL 8139/810x Family Fast Ethernet NIC that keeps dropping my connection. I have done just about everything possible to solve this problem. Reinstalled, removed, updated. It works for a few minutes then drops connection. I'm running XP with servicepack 3. I have had this problem through all the service packs. I even tried a new pci ethernet card and it had the same problem? Can anyone figure this one out? I'm about ready to take a big hammer to it soon. It doesnt give any error. If i'm lucky enough to play a online game for a few it then drops connection and freezes my pc.
