go to the manufacturer website of your motherboard and check how to flash the BIOS. with my LanParty, all i need to do is put in a floppy with the new BIOS and boot up my machine.
i have to use a floppy disk?...i cant use a CD ??...
and also... i threw in my CD that came with my mobo.. its a A8N SLI Deluxe...and i downoad a bunch of drivers from that and what not... but then i clicked the utilities tab and went to download the ASUS Update v6.01.01 which has the discription ASUS Update can help user to download and flash BIOS. Please install Network Card and TCP/IP network driver first, otherwise ASUS Update can not work properly....and when i click this to download i get the message Setup program detect no ASUS motherboard. Installation will be aborted now....i dont understand why it doesnt detect the motherboard..maybe becasue of the Network card and TCP/IP drivers ?
