need help start menu is glitching yahoo answers say i have a virus

my start menu is really glitching so when i click something it picks whatever is 3 down and i dont know if these are related but in internet explorer i cant drag the scroller bar on the side and in google chrome i cant click my favorites bar theres just alot of glitches with the menus and i tried a system restore but it didnt work.

sorry about the bad quality but that just about shows what has been problamatic i downloaded a bunch of torrents so that might be why but i deleted all of them i could try to system restore to really far back if u think it could work thank you.

yes, try system restore as far back as possible. if that not work, you may have to re formate your hard drive, and if that not work, than re-install windows

You might be infected with malware/viruses. Use Malwarebytes.

If nothing, yes, use system restore.
