Default Need help, Major issues!!

Ok my computer is wacko nowadays. It just crashes randomly. When it crashes the screen turns blank. When i turn it off to restart it again, it will not work (fans all work, but monitor will still be blank with the orange light). If that happens I have to press on the CPU Fan and turn on the computer after that. If it works, the Harddrive will run and stop for a second and start revving again. And when it does work, before the windows start up, it will show "OVERCLOCKING FAILED!" or "CPU OVER HEAT ERRO!" or "CHECKSUM BAD!" F1 to enter setup, F2 to set default and continue. Why does it say overclock fail if i dont even know how to overclock? And after it says overheat error i check the temperature of the CPU and MOBO and its around 40 C which is not very hot. Also today I experienced many errors when windows started, it's weird! When i go to a site like it will keep asking me to verify the certificate, over and over again! I try to log into MSN and it says ERROR. And also on the task bar it shows "windows geniune version blah blah blah" I have the real version of windows! and JUSTCHED.exe has errors after while. OMG help me please!

AFTERNOTE: 1. OK i figured out the certificate thing. Somehow my computer time got set to year 2099. I DIDN"T DO IT!! I dont know how that happened!

If you have to press down on the CPU fan to get your comp started sounds like your heatsink/fan isn't seated correctly. You may want to get some thermal paste (such as Arctic Silver 5) if you don't have any, take off the heatsink/fan, clean all of your thermal grease off/re-apply it, and then re-seat the heatsink/fan. Make sure it's seated tightly and properly on the CPU/in the mounting holes.

Since your clock was set to 2099 it sounds like somebody changed the date, install some "free trial" software thinking it would never expire that way. But, your clock being off like that really confuses Windows.
Change the world. Of one person. Today.

If your equation requires either a complex combination of variables to get the desired result OR you can't seem to get the result regardless of the ain't your variables, it's your constant.

Try to reset your Bios to default. Keep an eye on the bios date. Do you also loose time. If so your Bios battery may be going out.

agreeing with previous posters. I wouldn't even check it. get some thermal, clean off your current heatsink and processor, then put back together. if it's not seated right, it could fry your cpu or mobo. flash your bios first though. easier and you don't have to buy anything for that
