OK so I have Windows 8 ready to install. However, Windows 8 Setup is telling me I have to uninstall a few applications, but what I dont understand how to do is add more partition to my already partitions. I have Local Disk C that is 60GB and the rest is 871GB for the rest. Windows 8 is saying I need at least 20GB free on C and I already have 15GB free. What can I do to fix this problem?? I need help asap or I am forced to reinstall Windows 7 and then Windows 8.

UPDATE:

I discovered that it is possible to shrink and extend partitions. Here is a few links to help me out until someone comes in to help me more:

IMO, GParted is a better partitioning/formatting tool than built-in Windows tools.

I love GParted but cant find the disc. I will have to make a new one. How must I do it? Do you know how in terms of steps?

How to make the disc? Or what?

Just burn the ISO to disc with something like IMGBurn (or Win7 ISO burner thats included in Win7) and then boot off of it.

No, no. I need help on extending my Local Disk C: drive. Win8 is prompting me to get more space but I cant. I have to be able to get more partition space from my bigger partition. I apologize for not making it clear. I already know how to burn discs.

Dont bother with windows 8. Its made for tablets not desktops.
