Hi all,

A friend of mine game me a gamepad, its a regular gamepad, should work with PC and ps3. He lost the wireless adapter but I tought that it wont make any problem since I will use it via USB. But when I connect the gamepad nothing happens, my system doesnt even detect the device but the 4 lights on the GP does blink as they should. My friend told me that the GP worked fine before losing the wireless adapter so I think its not the problem.
If any one have any idea how to make it work please share it with me I'll appreciate that!

I have Windows 7 x64

Does Device Manager see it at all? Does Windows make the USB plug-in noise when it gets plugged in at all to recognize that some kind of device was plugged in? Have you tried all of your USB ports? Does it work on another computer?

no, no, yes, no

If it doesn't even work on another system then its probably a bad controller. That would be my assumption at least.

I have a wireless gamepad that comes with a USB cord, and in my case the USB is only for the rechargable built in battery not for connecting to the PC

Without the wireless adapter the gamepad is rendered useless.. again this is the deal with my gamepad and its not the same model as yours so theres a possibility that you can...
