Ok im trying to figure out what could be, my computer wont install anything from a disk and if it does it corrupted and the same with some downloaded files, so i tought that it could be the hard drive, i got a brand new hard drive and the same thing continues to happens, could this be my disk drives that both ****ed up or could it be the IDE on the mother board that messed up, please someone give me and idea

what is your mobo/cpu/hdd or if its a prebuild (dell/hp/compaq/ect) what is its model # ? also are you using a 40 or 80 conductor ide cable?
