Default need hard drive help asap

Just unplugged my hard drive to try and get an old hard drive working as slave
however when i plugged it all back in my pc no longer detects my hard drive either of them.
comes up the boot disk error please enter blah blah

anyone got any idea why my pc has certainly decided not to see my hard drive?

Do you have a OS installed on the new hard drive? If not the PC cant boot to a RAW format drive. You will have to hook up the new one as the slave and leave the old one as the master so that you can use the new one.

If you want to use the new one you will have to format it and install Windows on it to use it.

Go back to your original configuration. Does it show up then?

The cable may have gotten damaged. Try a different cable.
