I have a Compaq TFT450 14" flat pannel monitor that no longer works. My confusion is why, here's how it happened.... One day I was wiping the print drivers off my computer because the printer wasn't working right so i was going to re-instal them. The software (from HP) said to disconnest the printer (im using a 7 port usb hub) so i did. Next thing i know my monitor is all a tan color. I tried pluging the printer back in but it just changed the screen to a different solid color. I am now on a different monitor so i'm pretty sure that there is no computer hardware damage and everything seems to be working fine. I am just wondering how unpluging a USB could kill a monitor. The monitor was on it's last leg anyway so that may be the problem or my ATI Radeon 9200SE (wich i hate with a passion
) Anybody have any ideas?
