My Wifes C drive is filling up .....help.

Hi, I have run usual scans and cleaning methods....inc. ccleaner,disk cleaner,mbam,combo-fix,hjackthis,avg .......defraged it and cleaned it advanced options all users(shadow files removed)etc. and cant get the files down, and nothing found virus wise. I dont have an install disc for vista or i would do a full format, and fresh install....Any Ideas? I thought it might be an update problem SP1 to sp2 conflict....as it was all SP1 vista and now just down loaded and installed SP2. Should I remove all remaining SP1 updates now since SP2 has all SP1 anyway? Could there be an update caught in a loop suspension? If so Howdo I find which one and fix problem? Any suggestions be greatly appriciated thankyou.
If there are rootkit removers you can suggest?...... if that may help, ...I dont know.....
She only has 6 gb left so need to get it quick. thank you.

Any programs that are taking up room that she doesn't use anymore?

Check to make sure that you only have 5 Restore Points left. Check to make sure you have Shadow Copies turned off.
